It's pretty easy, actually. You can import any previous page from another file into your current album/project. The only catch is that it has to be the same page size. So you can't bring a 6x6 page into an 8.5 x 11 album.
(But you can change a 6x6 book to an 8x8 book! More on this below :-)
So here's what you do...
- Open the project you want to bring a page into (or a page template).
- Go under the Insert menu and click "Import from My Projects..."

- Find the folder that has the page you want.
- Pick the specific page(s) you want to use, then click Import.

Here are two pages that started out with the same design. On the second page, I switched the colors, the stamp images and the Designer Series Papers.

More good news: if you want to use a 12 x 12 page as a template for a 6 x 6 page, you CAN do that. Or you could make a 12 x 12 album into a 6 x 6 album. It's actually an option under the "Edit" menu, all the way at the bottom: Change Project Size/Type...

I hope these tips and screenshots will help you learn a little bit more about using your My Digital Studio software for digital scrapbooking and cards!
