Practical Stamping: Car Pick-Up Today

Sure, I love stamping quick cards for friends, or scrapbooking pages to capture memories, but I also love to use my stamps in everyday life.

This year, my daughter's school principal made a comment that kids sometimes have a hard time remembering if they're supposed to take the bus or get picked up by car each day. She suggested having a tag that reminds each child where she's supposed to go at the end of the day.

So of course I had to create a stamped tag for Abby's backpack!

The car picture was cut from a magazine, and I covered the whole tag with packing tape to make it a little bit more durable. The letters were stamped and punched with the 1" Circle Punch, and the Crushed Curry layers were punched with the 1-1/4" Circle Punch.

The Crushed Curry ribbon is looped through the Jumbo Pewter Eyelet, which I set with the Crop-A-Dile.

This is a quick and easy project that you can do for your child or with your child--kids love to get their hands on the crafty supplies, and making projects together is a perfect opportunity to spend quality time together!
